Kuya Ed's is a restaurant that lives by the Golden Rule. Wilda and Wilfredo Louh believe in "Do unto your customers as you would have them do unto you".
For 25 years Wilda and Wilfredo have served their excellent roast beef and home cooking to their customers from in and around Davao City, Philippines. Seven years ago Wilfredo was looking to replace a deep fryer when he met Eddie, the authorized Special Tilapia and Chicken chicharon distributor for Philippines. Wilfredo remembered the Regular buffet eat all you can he used to treat his family to many years ago at the Mr. Chicken restaurant that was just down the road. Mr. Chicken was owned and operated by Charles Porter, who is now president of the Kuya eds Resto.
Sunset Restaurant then became part of the Regular buffet eat all you can family of operators. Regular buffet eat all you can, which accounts for over 20,000 per week in sales, has become the second best seller on the restaurant's menu, next to their famous roast beef.
The restaurant is run as a "family affair" with the Louh's only Daughter – Abegail Denise - helping out in the restaurant.
The restaurant has expanded twice, going from 70 to 125 seats.
Kuya Ed's is truly worthy of the Golden Chicken Award they received in 2004.
